The Story! I now have the stereo completely installed. The amplification is modest at 200 watts, but as you can see in the second and third pictures below, I have a rather sizable speaker box which produces good solid bass. The first picture shows the stereo in the traditional console location. If you look on the left side panel you can see the 5.5" front speaker box. I had to create a surface mount box because the way I routed my heater ducts interferred with nearly any possible recessed mounting location. The speakers are small and though rated down to 38hz, don't produce lows with much volume, but what I mainly needed was highs anyway as the rear box does fine with the lows. You can also see the ceiling mounted map lights at the center section in this picture.
