The Story!
The doors are in two pieces so I have three options; no doors, tops only and a complete enclosure for the winter months. Following are pictures of the tee-tops and the complete doors. While the final product does the job (I can even use a hose to wash the car now), I can't say I'm completely happy with the fit and finish. I used wrinkle finish paint to match the rear window cowl, which did not wrinkle consistently, but plan to ultimately cover everything with real vinyl. The gasket/weatherseals are a bit too large and the passinger side does not fit as well as I'd like. Though I toyed with several ideas for latching (selinoid, bear claw, etc.), I am currently just using simple slide bolts.

The first three pictures show the framework and construction of the tee-top portions.

The next two pictures show the completed tee-tops closed.

The next three pictures show the interior when tee-tops closed. The first one has the interior cover removed to show the latching rod. Note that I designed the system such that both open and closed positions are held in place the gas-lifts (over centered, center point is about 25% up).

The next three pictures show several views with the tee-tops open.

The next two pictures show the framing and preparation of the lower portions of the doors prior to painting and carpeting.

The first two of the next three pictures show close-up views of the open driver's door. The third is how the closed passinger door apprears from the drivers seat when closed.

Lastly, the following pictures show the overall car with the full doors installed.
